MortgageSense is a free rate-checking tool from Sense AI. It gives you general information about where your home-loan rate sits against advertised market rates. This page explains what we do, what we don't do, how a referral to a broker works, and how to raise a complaint.

What we do, and what we don't

MortgageSense provides general information only. We are not a credit provider or a mortgage broker, and we do not provide credit assistance: we do not recommend a particular loan or lender for you, and we do not help you apply. The comparison figures we show are an indicative snapshot of advertised rates, not a recommendation to switch.

If you ask us to refer you

If you choose to leave your details, we pass your name and contact details to a licensed mortgage broker so they can contact you. The broker holds their own Australian Credit Licence and provides any credit assistance, under their own terms and disclosures. You are under no obligation, and you are free to use any broker or to deal with lenders directly.

How we are paid

Using MortgageSense is free to you, and Sense AI receives no fee, commission or other benefit for referring you to a broker. If you proceed with a loan through a broker we refer you to, the lender pays that broker a commission. You do not pay us a fee for the rate check.

Not personal advice

MortgageSense estimates are general information only and do not consider your full financial situation, needs, or objectives. A licensed broker will assess your circumstances before recommending anything.
