MortgageSense is a service of Kookaburra Finance. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use MortgageSense, how we use it, and your rights under the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

  • Details you enter to check your rate: your interest rate, loan balance, property value, and whether the property is owner-occupied or an investment.
  • If you upload a statement, the figures we read from it. We do not retain the file itself.
  • If you ask a broker to contact you: your name, email, and phone number.
  • Basic technical data such as your IP address, used to keep the service secure and prevent abuse.

How we use it

  • To grade your rate and estimate your savings.
  • To connect you with a licensed Kookaburra Finance broker when you request it.
  • To operate, secure, and improve the service.

What we do not do

We do not run a credit check to show you your grade. We do not sell your personal information. We do not store your uploaded statement after we read it.

Who we share it with

When you request a broker call, we share your enquiry with a licensed Kookaburra Finance broker. We use trusted service providers (hosting, database, and email delivery) to run the service, and they process data only on our instructions.

Your rights

You can ask us to access or correct the personal information we hold about you, or to delete it. Contact us at the email below and we will respond within a reasonable time.
